News of Veltins Bierhalle, a German pub and eatery, opening in downtown Tacoma made me eager for schnitzel and dunkel, but we’re still waiting for that opening. The good news – it’s still a go, but with a caveat. An opening has been pushed to 2014. And remember that downtown Puyallup Louisiana-themed eatery that’s been in the works for months and months? It’s opening soon. An Italian restaurant and a pub also are closer to opening in downtown Tacoma. Here are updates on all.
